Oyu Tolgoi (OT) would like to invite parties interested in providinglime and crushed limestone to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the company, providing information on your current business and details of, or plans to establish, a lime business.  
The Company is looking for companies toprovide lime for the copper concentrator and crushed limestone for the power station. Oyu Tolgoi mine utilizes lime for the flotation or recovery of copper ore flotation in which lime acts as a depressant (settling aid) and maintains proper alkalinity in the flotation circuit. Crushed limestone is added to the ingoing coal conveyor of the power station and is used as an aid to eliminating dangerous pollutants from the chimney.  Additional services, such asdelivery to site, and rigorous quality monitoring are also required.
Oyu Tolgoi is committed to developing Mongolian businesses, and in particular businesses in the South Gobi, and is seeking further information from companies and entities that provide, or have potential to provide,lime and crushed limestone to meet OT’s equipment needs.  If a current business is yet to be established, companies are invited to provide a business plan describinghow they intend to provide these services and detail any relevant experience in these areas. The results of this Request for Information (RFI) will be used to determine suppliers requested to bid in a Request for Proposal.   
Those companies which have experience in executing similar contracts are invited to submit the Expression of Interest Documents to RFxBox@ot.mn prior to 5pm, 14September 2012 (GMT+8) or to send hard copy files of same to the address specified below.
Interested bidders will be invited to be qualified as the Company engages only with those suppliers with sound businesses which share our organisational commitment to health, safety, and environment and other business practices.
